Slack & Teams: Notification Setup
Boostie integrates with your team’s internal messaging tools so you can receive real-time updates on your strongest candidates the moment they apply.
To access your integration options:
- Click your name in the top-right corner of Boostie.
- Select Settings from the dropdown.
- Use the top navigation bar to open Integrations.

Boostie provides native Slack and Teams integrations that alert your team the moment a high-fit candidate applies. Notifications are delivered directly into the channel you choose and include:
- Candidate name and email
- The job they applied to
- Their Fit Signal
- Channel and source
- A link to the candidate record in your ATS
- Boostie AI Insights explaining why the candidate is a strong fit
This ensures your team never misses a top candidate - even when they’re not inside Boostie.

How to Configure Slack
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations.
- Next to Slack, click Manage Connection.
-
A slide-out will appear on the right. Click Connect Boostie to Slack.
A Slack authorization page will open in a new browser window.
- Follow Slack’s prompts to approve the connection.
- Once Slack redirects you back to the Boostie slide-out, click Save to complete the setup.
You’re all set - Boostie will now send real-time alerts directly into your selected Slack channels.
Connect Microsoft Teams to Boostie
Instant Microsoft Teams alerts the moment a high-fit candidate applies - delivered straight to the channel you choose.
How to Set Up the Integration
Step 1: Navigate to Integrations
Go to Settings by clicking your name in the top right corner of the Boostie app. Then click Integrations in the navigation bar.
Step 2: Open the Teams Configuration
Click Manage Connection on the MS Teams tile to open the configuration slide-out.

Step 3: Install Microsoft Teams
Click Install Teams App. Your browser will prompt you to open Microsoft Teams - click Open Microsoft Teams to continue.

Step 4: Add the Boostie Bot to Your Team
The Boostie Bot app listing will appear in Teams. Click Open.

Once you select a channel and click Go, Boostie Bot will automatically post a welcome message in that channel. Click Connect to Boostie in the message - this is what links the bot back to your Boostie account and returns you to the configuration slide-out.

Step 5: Configure Your Settings:
You'll be returned to the Microsoft Teams Configuration slide-out in Boostie. From here:
- Under Channel, select the Teams channel where notifications should be posted.
- Under Send notification for Applicants in or above this fit signal, choose the minimum fit signal that should trigger a Teams alert. Options include: Very Strong, Strong, Potential, Weak, and Very Weak.
- Enable the Teams integration by toggling the Activate button to on and watching it turn green.
- Click Save.
Tip: Not sure which channel to pick? We recommend creating a dedicated channel like Boostie Hot Applicants or New Applicants to keep your lead alerts organized.

-
Save Your Configuration
Click Save in the bottom right corner of the slide-out to lock in your settings.
- Re-open the Manage Connection slide-out and click Send Test Hot Candidate Lead Alert. A green confirmation banner - "Test alert sent to Teams channel!" - will appear at the top of your screen.
Step 6: Verify in Teams
Check the Teams channel you configured. You should see a [Test] Hot Candidate Lead Alert from Boostie Bot - complete with candidate name, email, job applied, fit signal, and AI insights.
If the test alert showed up - you're all set.
