Talent Pools: Purchasing Additional Candidates

Talent Pools: Purchasing Additional Candidates

Need more candidates in a specific Talent Pool? You can purchase additional candidates directly from within Boostie — filtered by location, broken down by specialty, and priced per candidate so you know exactly what you're getting before you commit.

Step 1: Open Talent and navigate to your Talent Pool

From the left-hand navigation, click Talent. You'll land on the Talent Pools view.

Find the Talent Pool category you want to expand, then click View All Candidates in the bottom-right corner of that pool's card.

Step 2: Click Purchase Candidates

Inside the Talent Pool, click the Purchase Candidates button in the top-right corner of the page.

Step 3: Select your location(s)

The Purchase Candidates slideout opens. Use the Select Location(s) field to search for a city or state.

Once you select a location, the Available column in the table below will populate with the number of purchasable candidates for each specialty in that pool.

Click View under the Available column for any specialty to preview available candidates before purchasing.

Step 4: Enter your purchase quantity

In the Purchase Qty column, enter the number of candidates you want to purchase for each specialty.

As you add quantities, the Estimated Total panel on the right updates in real time — showing total candidates to purchase, price per candidate ($0.30), and your estimated total cost.

Step 5: Complete your purchase

When you're ready, click Purchase.

Purchased candidates will be added to your invoice and charged within the week.

What happens after you purchase?

Purchased candidates live in Boostie — they are not pushed into your ATS immediately. If a candidate becomes an applicant through a Workflow, Boostie will push them into your ATS at that point.

Boostie only sends clean, qualified data back to your ATS. No noise. No bulk imports of unverified records.

Note: If your selected Talent Pool category contains multiple specialties (e.g., Technology & IT includes Java Developer, DevOps Engineer, Web Developer, etc.), you can purchase candidates across any combination of those specialties in a single transaction — or just the ones you need.
