2026-06-23: Social Share Image: Branded Preview for Shared Job Links

When someone shares a link to your job board or an individual job listing on LinkedIn, Facebook, X, or any other social platform, they now see a clean branded image - your logo centered on your page background color - instead of a small thumbnail or a blank preview.

How It Works

Boostie automatically generates a 1200x630 share image from the logo and page background color you have saved in Jobs → Job Board Settings  → Design → Edit Design Settings → Page Background Color. That image is applied to every page on your Boostie Board as the standard social preview tag (og:image), along with the size metadata that tells platforms like LinkedIn and X to render the large-card format - a full-width preview, not a thumbnail.

The image regenerates automatically in the background any time you save a change to your logo or primary color. No extra steps needed.

Requirements

  • A logo uploaded in Settings → Branding
  • A Background Color set in Jobs → Job Board Settings  → Design → Edit Design Settings → Page Background Color (this always will default to white #FFFFFF)

If no logo is on file, Boostie skips the generated image entirely. Social platforms fall back to their own default link preview.

Why It Matters

Every shared job link becomes a branded touchpoint. Candidates arriving from social media see your brand before they reach your board, and your posts stand out in feeds with a polished full-size card instead of a generic icon or bare URL.
