Boostie Board Embed: Setup & Requirements

Board Embed displays your Boostie job board directly on your own careers page, inside an iframe. Your site's header, footer, and navigation stay in place around it, so candidates browse and apply without ever leaving your website.

When embed is active, Boostie's own header and footer are hidden - your site supplies the branding. A sign-in link stays visible for candidates managing their Boostie profile or job alerts.

Requirements

All three must be in place before Boostie support can enable this for your account:

  1. Your Board URL must be a subdomain of your website domain. For example, jobs.yoursite.com inside www.yoursite.com. If the Board is on a different domain, candidates silently can't stay signed in inside the frame - their session cookies are treated as third-party and blocked by modern browsers. Contact Boostie support if your Board domain needs to be updated before enabling embed.
  2. The Boostie snippet is installed on your careers page. The boostie.js   snippet must already be present on the page where you want the board to appear. The snippet is what injects and manages the iframe.
  3. A container div is placed where you want the board. Add <div id="boostie-board"></div>   to your careers page at the exact location the board should render. The snippet finds this div and replaces it with the board iframe automatically when the page loads.

Pro Tip: Place the container div in your page's main content area, below your site header. The iframe sizes itself to the board's full content height, so no scrollbar appears inside it and your site's own scroll handles everything.

How to enable Board Embed

  1. Confirm all three requirements above are in place on your site.
  2. Contact Boostie support at support@boostie.com to request embed be activated for your account.
  3. Once Boostie support enables it, visit your careers page to confirm the board appears inside your site layout.

What candidates see

Candidates browse, filter, and apply to jobs entirely within your site. Sign-in, profile management, and job alert signup all work inside the embed. If a step requires navigating away from your site (such as an external screener handoff), the page transitions automatically and returns when the candidate is done.

When a candidate views a job or starts an application, your site's URL bar updates to reflect the specific job or apply page - so candidates can bookmark or share a direct link without losing the context of your careers page.

Why it matters

Keeping candidates on your site reduces drop-off, reinforces your brand through the full apply flow, and lets your existing site navigation guide the experience. You get a modern, fully-featured job board without asking candidates to leave your website to find or apply for a role.
