Jobs: Talent Pool Tab
The Talent Pool tab on every job page shows the job seekers in your database who already match that job's category and specialty, sorted by their most recent tracked activity so the most engaged candidates appear first. It gives you a standing list of warm leads without any manual search across all people.
Opening the tab
Navigate to Jobs, open any job, then click the Talent Pool tab in the job page header.

Reading the table
Each row is a job seeker whose category and specialty match the job. Columns shown:
- Name — links to their ATS record when a candidate ID is present
- Tags — Subscriber (green) if they receive job-alert emails from you; Applicant (blue) if they have any application on file in your account
- Email and Phone
- Last Activity — the date they most recently visited a page, viewed a job, or submitted an application through your Boostie board
- Location — the city and state from the candidate's address record

IP location indicator
When Boostie has an IP-detected location for a candidate, a globe icon appears next to their address. Hover it to see the IP-derived city, state, and country. If Boostie detects that the IP country differs from the country on the candidate's address record, the globe icon turns red and the tooltip flags it as a country mismatch — useful for spotting candidates who may be browsing from a different country than their listed address.
Filters
Click the filter icon to open the filter drawer. Available filters:
- Candidate ID — partial or exact match on ATS ID
- Email — partial match on email address
- Name — partial match on first and last name
- Location — radius search matched against the candidate's address. Enter a distance in miles and search for a city or zip code. For non-remote jobs, Boostie pre-seeds this filter to the job's location at 50 miles — adjust the distance or place before applying, or clear both fields to remove the radius restriction. For remote jobs no location is pre-set.
- Last Activity — filter by most recent tracked activity date. Choose a preset (Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 60 days) or select Custom range to enter specific from and to dates.
Category and specialty filters are not shown on this tab — the list is already scoped to the job's category and specialty automatically.

Why It Matters
When a role opens, your best candidates may already be in your database — people who subscribed to job alerts, applied to similar roles in the past, or visited your board recently. The Talent Pool tab surfaces them directly on the job, ranked by engagement, so you can reach out proactively instead of waiting for inbound applications alone. Combined with the location and activity filters, you can narrow to candidates who are nearby and recently active in minutes.
